Work on the next issues of the "blade and mace" comics is underway.  James and I are hammering out a darker, different story.  The first comic was mainly a test comic to see if we could do it and we wanted it fairly simple.  The next one is going to be a 2-3 issue story arc and will feature better art, seeing that I am learning lots of new things in school now.

I am currently planning on getting some printed copies of the comic out there and I decided to redo the cover for the comic.  I mainly wanted to update the covers look and give it a little more of a striking appearance.  It now appears at the beginning of the comic on this site and is also in the art and design section showing the pencil sketches, the colored version along with the original cover.

Greetings.  The site has a new design featuring some new art on the front page.  I also added some new sketches to the art and design area of the page and added a new full page "Of Blade and Mace" poster that is a concept preview of the Volume II comic James and I and working on.  Click on the link below to see a large version.

I added some new sketches to my concept art section.  All of the newer ones are older pictures I've done, mostly for portfolio work for college.  I also added a Writings section which will host some of James Steinhoff's work, stories, novels and such.  Check back for some of that work soon.

PART III is up!  I uploaded it this weekend to finally get the entire comic up on here!  Hope you enjoy it.

James and I are trying to block out the storyline and script for the next "Of Blade and Mace" comic which will probably not be seen until next year sometime.  Now that this is all done, I can focus 100% on my college work which I am pumped about.  But never fear, an even better and more thrilling full comic will be coming to you in the future with better art, colours, storylines and adventure.  stay tuned for that!

I added some new things to the site.  There is now a Concept Art section up above that showcases some of the work I did to work up to making my little book and a Characters Page which goes into some detail about each of the main characters.  Take a look.

The site is up and running!  Of Blade and Mace Volume I, Part 1 & 2 are up on this page and getting some good positive feedback.  This is really making James and I happy to hear that people like our work.  We put a lot of long hours into this and had a blast doing it.  I never knew making a comic book would be this much fun.

On a side note, Part III will be released sometime next week.  I'm going to be having a busy weekend and I won't have much time to get those pages loaded on so hold in there for the finale!

Thanks for all the feedback, see you next week.
